Jilly
Hallo Frau Grell!
Alles Liebe
Dear Father Antony!
It has been a long time since our last message, and I am sure that you will very happy to hear that Jilly is doing really fine.
We have her a little less than one year, but even in this short time, she somehow became the centre of our family life. When my daughter comes home, I get a “Hello Dad”, and Jilly gets “Hello Jilly, how are you, I have been missing you, sooo good to see you…………………………………………………………………”.
I think that Jilly is very happy to be living with us now, and she enjoys being hugged and cared for half of the day by various people. At the beginning of her stay she got really excited when she heard the church bells toll, I think it reminded her on the time with you!
She is such a good and clever dog, and she has been learning a lot since she arrived (although I have to confess that we finished going to dog-school, it was to “military” for the both of us). She likes going on walks and playing in the garden, and sometimes she enjoys when other dogs come for a visit and play. Most of the time she is a little shy when we meet other dogs, and often scared as well. She don’t likes it at all when another dog is being caressed by a member of our family, then she gets really jealous and steps between the dog and her family.
We have never to be afraid the she bites anyone, on the contrary, nobody is safe from being licked by Jilly.
I hope that you are doing fine as well, and I hope you still have enough power to do the important job you are doing right now!
Best regards from Austria!
