SPAYATON September 2026 SLIVEN

Animal Care International freut sich, einen wertvollen Beitrag zum SPAYATHON 9/26 in SLIVEN / Bulgarien, geleistet zu haben!

16th Spayathon Bulgaria ,has been nothing short of incredible. 222 animals s/n by the extraordinary team of Romania Animal Rescue, Inc Dba Animal Spay Neuter International which makes total of 3783 surgeries done in these camaigns. This whole journey has always been unreal. Being surrounded by such incredible professionals and volunteers is something I will never take for granted. You all pour so much passion into everything you do and it is the energy and trust that keeps me going. It is an honor to build something so special with all of you. A Spayathon is always a wild ride and I truly believe there are many more to come. Thank you to all the supporters of Animal Spay Neuter International who chose to donate for our campaign, to Animal Care International for their generous donation towards the surgeries for our Spayathon, DREAM TEAM- Roxana-Elena Stan, Alexandra Nasta , Oana Lixandru , Hasitha Lakmal , Roshan Kalpa Tharanga – I have learned thorough the years kindness is an universal language. It doesn’t matter where you come from, what language you speak, or what background you have — kindness is understood by all. And in a world that often feels divided, these moments of kindness remind us that we are all connected. We love you folks ! The volunteers – Anne-Marie McGivern , Simona Stoyanova Красимира Колева Радост Колева, Filiz Mehmedova, Nicholas Popkovatchev – life is not about what we take, but about what we give. And the greatest gift we can offer to the animals in these campaigns is our time, our love, and our willingness to make a difference — one small act of kindness at a time. And last but not least Ветеринарна практика „Малки и Големи“ -The impact we make supporting this cause , no matter how big or small, can change lives — including our own. Thank you for your support !
I don’t know where this journey will take me next, but one thing is certain — volunteering will always be a part of my life. It is not just something I do; it is something that defines who I am. And as long as there are animals in need, I will continue to give, and to share the kindness and love that has been given to me just what you all do.. See you all again in 2027 🐱🐶🐾❤

Er genießt heute die Sonne auf der Terrasse. Gott sei Dank ja schon ohne Trichter 🙂 Er geht ihm auch schon wieder viel besser, vor allem, wenn er andere Hund sieht, die haben ihn am Anfang ja gar nicht interessiert, aber jetzt ist er eigentlch fast schon wieder der Alte 🙂

UPDATE DIANA/SPAYATON/SLIVEN März 2026

ACI hat sich auch heuer wieder am Spayaton in Sliven 2026 / Bulgarien beteiligt!

Danke an (unsere) DIANA DIMOVA, die mit ASNI dieses großartige Projekt geplant und realisiert hat!

15th Spayathon Sliven March 2026 has ended. In this campaign 248 cats and dogs were spayed /neutered for 3 days and a half. Where do I even begin to express my most heartfelt, sincere thanks to all of you.

Animal Spay Neuter International for fundraising toward the surgeries for our Campaign.

Thank you for aslo funding the extra surgeries done at our last working day.

Thank you to each and every donor of yours who supported this significant event.

My personal thanks also go to Animal Care International and Renate Grell, Doris Katzmann and Claudia Prandtstetten.

Update Diana / BULGARIEN 10.9.2025

Wie jedes Jahr beteiligte sich ACI auch 2025 sowohl an dem Frühjahrs- als auch Herbst-Spayaton in Bulgarien.

Lediglich Kastrationen sind das Mittel der Wahl, um ungewolltes Tierleben und damit vorprogrammiertes Tierleid zu verhindern.

YMA, die kleine Kämpferin

Vor Kurzem erreichte uns ein Hilferuf einer Hundebesitzerin, deren kleine YMA – ganze 1.6 kg leicht – dringend medizinische Hilfe benötigte.

Durch einen unglücklichen Umstand wurde sie von einem anderen, weit schwereren Hund – im Spiel – angesprungen, und sofort war klar, dass sie eine Verletzung im Bereich Übergang Schädel/Halswirbelsäule davongetragen hatte.

Zu allem Unglück kristallisierte sich auch noch aus den div. Blutbefunden heraus, dass sie an einer verdeckten Gebärmutter-Entzündung litt, die ebenfalls dringend behandelt werden musste.

Die Kleine hatte in Folge 2 Operationen, deren Kosten für das Frauchen alleine nicht stemmbar waren.

ACI half schnell und übernahm 50 Prozent davon, obwohl wir gerade jetzt einige Notfälle zu versorgen haben.

(Dazu gehören u.a. noch HERO und NAYA, denen nur in Ö geholfen werden kann.)

Nach einer Woche stationärem Aufenthalt durfte die Kleine wieder nach Hause übersiedeln, wo sie jetzt noch einige Wochen in absoluter Schonung verbringen muss.
