UPDATE DIANA/SPAYATON/SLIVEN März 2026

ACI hat sich auch heuer wieder am Spayaton in Sliven 2026 / Bulgarien beteiligt!

Danke an (unsere) DIANA DIMOVA, die mit ASNI dieses großartige Projekt geplant und realisiert hat!

15th Spayathon Sliven March 2026 has ended. In this campaign 248 cats and dogs were spayed /neutered for 3 days and a half. Where do I even begin to express my most heartfelt, sincere thanks to all of you.

Animal Spay Neuter International for fundraising toward the surgeries for our Campaign.

Thank you for aslo funding the extra surgeries done at our last working day.

Thank you to each and every donor of yours who supported this significant event.

My personal thanks also go to Animal Care International and Renate Grell, Doris Katzmann and Claudia Prandtstetten.

You have an amazing God gift and I was so fortunate to cross paths with you when I did!

Soula Richards – we met for the first time but I dare to believe it will not be the last. Thank you to all of you for devoting your strong hearts and smart minds to this work. The energy you share is a wonderful gift to the world.

Thank you so much for all you do – for the animals and the people who love them. You deal with both sides – and you do a beautiful job at both.

To everyone who feeds stray animals and chooses to spay or neuter them – thank you for seeing them as lives worth protecting, not just animals passing by. Feeding them is important but spay and neuter takes it to the next level!

Each surgery is not just a procedure – it is a step toward a safer, healthier future for countless animals and communities.

Update Diana / BULGARIEN 10.9.2025

Wie jedes Jahr beteiligte sich ACI auch 2025 sowohl an dem Frühjahrs- als auch Herbst-Spayaton in Bulgarien.

Lediglich Kastrationen sind das Mittel der Wahl, um ungewolltes Tierleben und damit vorprogrammiertes Tierleid zu verhindern.

Our 12th Spayathon with the dream team of Romania Animal Rescue, Inc Dba Animal Spay Neuter International is over. 224 animals spayed /neutered in just 3 days and a half.

First of all I would like to address Animal Spay Neuter International and all donors. Bound by a common purpose we find ourselves united in making a lasting effects in what we do. All of you have lots of choices when it comes to donating and I am thankful for choosing to donate to the surgeries for our Spayathon. Your generous contribution holds a special place within my heart, representing not only a meaningful donation but also a profound bond that fuels my efforts.

With sincere appreciation for your support in this journey we all the citizens of my hometown Sliven want to say THANK YOU The DREAM TEAM of Romania Animal Rescue, Inc Dba Animal Spay Neuter International -our heroes. I have always appreciated you taking the time to help us reduce the suffering of animals by following the moto Better prevent breeding than killing the results. A massive THANK YOU for your unwavering support and collaboration. The work you have done in the last days is invaluable in so many ways. I have always been left astonished at the level of dedication and hard work you all put in every situation. Your individual and collective efforts are nothing short of extraordinary and are deeply valued. May your team reach every height of success!

And last but not least some words of appreciation for the volunteers.
Volunteers are the lifeblood of every Spayathon. They are essential to the success of this campaign devoting their time, skills and energy to help run this event. This is to thank them all for their hard work and support. The world is better today than it was yesterday, thanks to your efforts. Not all heroes wear capes !!!

Das 10. Kastrationsprojekt von Bulgarien fand heuer wieder vom 22.- 25.9.2023 in SLIVEN statt.

Auch dieses Mal war ACI wieder finanziell mit von der Partie und in diesem Zusammenhang danken wir DIANA für ihre unermüdliche Arbeit zugunsten der Streuner.

Sie ist es, die alles plant und schlussendlich in die Wege leitet und umsetzt.

Mit dem bewährten Team von ASNI konnten auch heuer wieder 224 Hunde und Katzen kastriert werden.

Hier eine kleine Foto-Auswahl von den Vorbereitungen, den Operationen und der Nachbetreuung der Tiere.

Update Diana / BULGARIEN 3.5.23

Das Einfangen von Streuner-Katzen stellt Diana manches Mal vor große Probleme.

Teilweise sehr scheu, erlauben es ihr die Tiere nicht, von ihr angegriffen zu werden.

Oft ist der Anblick eines Menschen schon Grund genug, dass die Tiere verschwinden und sich tagelang nicht mehr blicken lassen.

Die Lebend-Falle leistet gute Dienste, aber in jedem Fall ist Geduld angesagt. Manches Mal dauert es Tage oder Wochen, mancher Tiere habhaft zu werden.

Dianas Rekord bei einer Katze liegt bei – sage und schreibe – 4!Jahren. Am Ende jedoch war dann auch diese Mietze in der Falle.
