Chester in Not

ACI erreichte vor einiger Zeit ein verzweifelter Hilferuf einer Dame, deren Kater CHESTER sich durch einen – mehr als tragischen – Unfall das Bein
und die Hüfte so unglücklich und schwer verletzt hatte, dass eine sofortige Not-Operation unumgänglich war!

Da es der Dame finanziell sehr schlecht geht und sie keinerlei Chance mehr sah, die anschließend noch offenen Raten in der Tierklinik auch nur annähernd in absehbarer Zeit abzahlen zu können, der Druck auf sie somit immer größer wurde, wandte sie sich mit einem dringenden Hilferuf in ihrer Verzweiflung an ACI. Update zu Vanja

UPDATE von VANJAS FRAUCHEN!

Diese Hündin stammt aus dem früheren ACI-Serbien Projekt ( NIS) und wird noch immer von uns unterstützt. Ein wenig Zeit ist seit dem letzten Bericht vergangen, und Vanja macht sich nach wie vor ganz gut. Die Zaubermaus wird aber nun mal leider auch nicht jünger, und in letzter Zeit stellten wir doch kleine Unsicherheiten beim Gehen bei Vanja fest, und sie „klagte“ bei manchen Bewegungen doch über Schmerzen.

Untersuchungen zeigten leider nicht sehr Erfreuliches: Vanja leidet leider zunehmend an Arthrose und auch zeigten sich auf dem Röntgenbild Spondylosen an den Halswirbeln. Wir waren zuerst sehr betroffen und machten uns große Sorgen um Vanja, da sie öfters schubartige Schmerzen hatte, und die erste Therapie nicht wirklich anschlug. Unsere liebe Tierärztin bat uns aber, doch noch etwas länger Geduld zu haben und ihr noch etwas Zeit zu geben, und Gott sei Dank geht es Vanja nun wieder „gut“. Weiterlesen

Maddox

Auch in diesem Fall hat ACI schnell und sofort geholfen!

Maddox war plötzlich erkrankt und ACI hat die Vet-Kosten als Schnell-Hilfe übernommen, wie es auch in vielen anderen Fällen bereits geschehen ist.

Das Geld wird für die medizinische Versorgung der Streuner verwendet, wie zum Beispiel für Kastrationen, Floh- Behandlungen, Impfungen, etc.

My dear Renate,
I acknowledge receipt of you bank transfer and thank you from the bottom of my heart for this generous donation. I am happy people donate for the cause of animal welfare worldwide. With the financial support of donators we all the animal lovers can make a difference I wish I could live in country where you don’t have to see so much suffering and pain but I am happy I have at least the support of people like you that allows me to help many innocent victims of human’s cruelty and indifference.

I will shortly neuter several dogs and cats that I feed on regular basis and they already let me catch them as sometimes you need long time before a stray dog or cat can trust you. Neutering stray animals for me is very important and I am glad I can afford this though not in big numbers. I will also be able to buy spot on against ticks and fleas for these poor creatures ,the ticks cause Erlichiosis in most of them and protecting stray animals from such diseases is quite costly on monthly basis. With your help I will also buy tests strips for a diabetic cat I am taking care of. These strips I need for the glucometer and these strips are quite big monthly expense.

Thank you Renate for being thoughtful, thank you for trusting me, this means a lot ! When I first received donation for animals I felt very uneasy and for a long time I even refused being financially supported but now I fully understand people are not helping me but the animals and I realized that not accepting help means I rob the animals of the chance they need so much.

My dear Renate,
This is just a short message to say thank you for the generous donations that helped many animals in need for the past months. Needless to tell you that the situation with the vast overpopulation of stray dogs and cats hasn’t decreased as the local authorities do not finance TRN programs which is the best and only way we can try and solve this serious problem. There are lots of stray animals trying to survive, fighting for food at the garbage containers, being tortured and slaughtered.

I am trying to do my little contribution to the cause of animal welfare in my country as a private person and I know what I do is just a drop in the ocean but at least I am not indifferent. The money you generously donated goes for food and castrations of both dogs and cats. Also 7 cats and 5 dogs found their homes in Germany and the transport to their forever homes was also covered by the donation. I am so very thankful to people who know how important this is. I am sure that if they can see the happy eyes of the re homed ex-stray animals they would be absolutely sure their money was worth spending for this cause.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart though words will never be enough to say how much this support meant for us. It is not always possible to take pictures while I feed stray animals but I will attach in separate e-mails some as well as pictures of ex-stray dogs and cats already rehomed. I hope some of the pictures will put a smile on your face.
